Family of Jonathan Wardill and Elizabeth (nee Petty)
Jonathan (1745 - 1803) married Elizabeth Petty (1747 - 1835) in Egton Yorkshire 0n Febreary 7 1771. All the children were born at Goathland (a few miles S.E. of Egton) where Jonathan and Elizabeth spent the whole of their married life. Over ninety percent of all present day Wardill’s are descended from their sons. Jonathan was believed to be a Joiner.
